Ali True Smith

Ali has dedicated her life to learning, understanding, and teaching body mechanics, physical fitness, and nutrition to help people maintain their youth through progressive workouts and healthier diets to achieve true balance.

As a perpetual student of biomechanics and fitness, Ali has a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Holistic Nutrition, as well as numerous certifications in Personal Training, kickboxing, yoga, and massage therapy. 

She maintained her personal training certifications through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and has recently completed NASM’s Behavior Change Specialist and received her Corrective Exercise Specialist Certifications.

Ali completed four levels of training from the prestigious Equinox Fitness Training Institute (EFTI) in California, where she trained Janice Dickinson (America’s Top Model TV show) and Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV).Her work with Dolph continued for many years after, training while on set in Africa, China, and London. 

Here, Dolph trained her in Martial Arts, as she helped him recover from foot surgery to improve his functional movement.

The No Burpees Method has been a culmination of 30 years of training, education, and working with everyday people, athletes, and celebrities all over the world to achieve a healthy lifestyle that is balanced and suits personal circumstances. Over the last 15 years, she has focused on developing a team of trainers to provide a way for our clients to obtain their goals safely and effectively. We do not choose exercises that just look cool or are trending on social media, we choose exercises suited for one’s current limits and abilities so they can get where you need to be safer and faster. There is a way to be intense without being reckless.

She believes there’s no point in making you do twenty burpees when you can’t even touch your toes. Workouts should be fun and manageable but still move you towards fitness goals to create a happier lifestyle.
